After
college it took me 13 years to write enough original music to fill an
album. The "Snow Song" was an early one I wrote for my niece and
nephew. I created harmony vocals by bouncing the recording back and
forth between two tape recorders. The quality was poor. As I approached that critical "album's worth" of music, I acquired a multi-track tape recorder. I planned to re-record everything I had written up to that time. "The Second Time Around" album is the product of those sessions.
I was hoping things would be better the..... "Second Time Around".
One of the very first songs I recorded on the multi-track recorder was the "Goin' Home" song. It needed a drum. I
noticed the cover to my Weber grill. I suspended this with bungee cords
between two chairs, and mic'd it up for stereo. (It's hard to "beat" a
setup like that !) Sometimes in life you do the best you can with what you have to work with at the time. (Maybe I'll get a drum for Christmas some year.)

For many years my CD's were available for online purchase via a "burn on demand" CD manufacturer called Mixonic. They are no longer providing this selling page service for independent artists. If I get enough requests for the CD's, I'll consider finding a secondary source.
Thanks to all who have purchased my CD's over the years.
